Santa Cruz Pride is slated to take place on Sunday, June 4 this year, beginning with a parade down Pacific Avenue. Denizens will recognize the procession as one of the most visible signs of celebration, having been hosted here for 25+ years!
Pure Pleasure is doing its own part. We will have a booth at Pride featuring a raffle and some of the delightful merchandise we commonly feature at our store. This year we have a truly exciting selection of toys, lubes, erotica, and informative books, ranging from guidebooks on sex for seniors to fantastic erotica by and for the gender-nonconforming folks out there! (Let it be known my personal favorite in the latter category is Take Me There, a compilation edited by Tristan Taormino. He's the mastermind behind much of our informative and sexy porn vids and technique books!)
For a more low-key introduction to our selection, we definitely recommend making it down to our retail store ahead of the Pride celebrations, which are sure to be a busy, bustling time.
