Join us at Pure Pleasure for another evening of laughter with Yellow Cat Comedy presenting an intimate evening of comedy. It will be a diverse line-up of female (and one token guy) comics from all over the California coast, with headliner Brandie Posey.

Brandie Posey Bio: Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Brandie Posey is a standup comedian, writer & producer who now calls LA's comedy scene home. She has been featured as a performer at the New York Comedy Festival, RIOT Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, FEST in Gainesville, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, The All Jane Festival, among many others. She has opened for the legendary punk band Against Me! and has appeared on MTV, E! & Comedy Central. Brandie made her feature film debut in the indie dark comedy, "The Worst Year Of My Life" directed by Jonathan Smith & her first stand up record Opinion Cave debuted at #1 on iTunes & #12 on Billboard.com.

She is honored to rep the LA comedy scene on the compilation album "Holy F*ck. Album Comedy." and tours the country, headlining every dark corner with a microphone. She is the co-creator & host of Picture This, the popular comedy-animation show with franchises in LA, Portland, New York & San Francisco. Picture This! recently shot a pilot for TruTV after partnering with Page Hurwitz & Wanda Sykes' Push It Productions. At the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre & The Hollywood Improv, Brandie co-hosts Lady to Lady alongside Barbara Gray & Tess Barker. Lady to Lady is also a celebrated weekly podcast on the Maximum Fun Podcast Network with over 4 million downloads & loyal fans around the world.

Geneva Rust-Orta Bio: Genva Rust-Orta is an Oakland native comic. She took her East Bay humor across the Atlantic to university in the United Kingdom. In the UK, she preformed at the Edinburgh, Camden, and Great Yorkshire fringe festivals. She was named Second Funniest Jew of 2015, at the 2015 Jewish Comedian of the Year Competition in London.

Alexandria Love Bio: Alexandria Love is a stand-up comedian and writer from Oakland, CA. She’s performed at some of the best venues in California, including Punchline, Cobb’s Comedy Club, Doc’s Lab, Comedy Day and the San Jose Improv. She was the sixteen-time winner of Tourette’s Without Regret’s Dirty Haiku Battle at the Oakland Metro Opera House, and the current reigning champion at Muni Diaries’ Haiku Battle. She is also a recurring guest star on the popular podcast Nerd Rage: The Great Debates and the co-producer of several shows such as The Mermaid Show, Jokelandish, Troubled Comedy at Amnesia and the No-Cover Cabaret. She is currently pursuing an M.A in Communications from the University of San Francisco and enjoys long walks off short cliffs and explosively emotional conversations about her parents with her therapist, Lunn. Natasha Collier: Natasha Collier is a stand-up comedian and history student at UC Santa Cruz. Originally from Los Angeles, Natasha performs regularly with the Santa Cruz Comey Community and the bay area comedy network. She just returned from a semester abroad in Europe where she preformed comedy in cities such as Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam. She is the winner of the 2019 Pink Flamingo Theatre Comedy Contest and the 2009 Culver City District Spelling Bee. Natasha is double jointed in her right middle finger and can wiggle her ears, kind of.

Chad Opitz Bio: Chad Opitz is a comic whose hilarious and unique perspective are making him an oft booked staple at Bay Area clubs and showcases. Veering between one-liners, short story jokes, and sometimes even song, Opitz' writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work.

Chad has been a featured guest on the Doug Loves Movies Podcast and The Benson Interruption. He was a featured performer at the 2016-2019 San Francisco Sketchfests. He hosted an episode of "The Guest List" on Audible Channels in 2017. Chad was the winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn's "Best Newcomer" award as well as a finalist in the Rooster T. Feathers Competition, semi-finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition, 2nd place finalist at the 2016 Sacramento Comedy Competition and 1st place winner of the Walk the Plank comedy competition.  He's opened for Michelle Wolf, David Cross, Scott Thompson, Gad Elmaleh, ISMO, Rob Schneider, Neil Hamburger, Taylor Tomlinson, Jak Knight, Bobcat Goldthwait, Brooks Wheelan and many more. 

Jeen Yee Bio: Jee Yee is a Bay Area stand-up comedian who has performed at Cobb’s Comedy Club, in San Francisco Punch Line, and in the World Series of Comedy. She’s done stand-up in five different countries, including Mexico, Taiwan & Hong Kong. Most recently, Jeen was selected for the World Series of Comedy, performing throughout the US. She has also won the Saddle Rack Comedy Competition and Tommy T’s Open Mic Competition. Her multicultural experiences and teaching experiences allow for perceptive interpretations of people of all different ages, places, and number of teeth. Onstage, Jeen is a delight. At once intimate and expansive, Jeen leaves audiences feeling like they have just shared a moment with someone.

Dana Turner Bio: Dana Turner opened for “nationally touring comedians” like Bob Zany, Darren Carter, JR DeGuzman and Sean Carringan. A frequent gues on the improv podcast Dumbprov, performs up and down California, and hosts an Open Mic every Sunday night at Grogg’s Pub in Clovis, CA.

Chree Powell Bio: Chree Powell was born on a defunct Sonoma County farmstead and shared a bed with her mom until she was 5 years old.  She has performed in the Santa Cruz Comedy Festival, at the Crow's Nest and Throckmorton Theatre. Favorite audience members include The Harlem Globetrotters and nationally touring comedian Geoff Tate's entire family.  Chree recently started producing her own shows under the name Yellow Cat Comedy.  She is a regular at the Blue Lagoonies Comedy Show and a co-host of Comedy Night at Rosie McCann's in Santa Cruz, CA.
